Velan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hanwha Ocean, a leading global shipbuilder, during the Hanwha Ocean Partners Day in Montreal. The agreement advances in-country sourcing of mission-critical submarine valve systems. Anchored in Velan’s 65-year experience supporting naval defense shipbuilding for U.S. and NATO fleets, the partnership strengthens sovereign capability and long-term sustainment for Canada’s future submarine program.
